- In 2005, cars 7000, 7006 and 7010 of this series were converted into transition cars to allow passengers to walk between a Renaissance car and the Park car aboard the Ocean train.
- These cars have skid-resistant floors that prevent baggage from shifting during transport.
- Renaissance baggage cars are fashioned out of shells, which were supposed to be used for sleeping cars.
